Buying on eBay Philippines

I'm a certified "kuripot" or a stingy person and I love surfing the internet for great deals. I'm the type of person who exhausts all of my efforts just to make sure I get the best price for the items that I want. I spend a lot of my time looking for the items online and in comparing it to different websites and local stores; but it's all worth it. Thus, based on experience, there are pretty good deals that you can find online that help you save money and time. Hopefully these tips would help you out on buying on eBay.ph:
 1.     Maximize the filters
o    Searching for items in eBay is like searching for answers in Google - you just have to type the right keyword.
o    TIP: To easily search for what you're looking for, use the "advanced" button located at the top right most portion just below the shopping cart.
o    My favorite filters
§  PayPal accepted
§  Condition: new
§  Top Rated Sellers
§  Free shipping
2.     Read all the details
o    Once you've found the item that you want, make sure to read all the details especially the item description, shipping, mode of payment, condition, postage and returns.
§  Description: TIP: some items have defects on it; make sure to cross-reference the item description with the photos on the listing.
§  Shipping and postageTIP: some sellers don't directly place the shipping cost on the 1st part; make sure to read all the details in the shipping section. You should also be careful on buying from international sellers; some items bought outside of the Philippines would require you to pay certain custom fees and taxes.
§  Mode of payment: TIP: pay using PayPal because you would be covered by PayPal Buyer Protection. This means that if you would not receive your item, or if the item that you received is not as described, then you could file a claim with PayPal 45 days from when you purchased the item - in short, there's a way to get your money back when the transaction doesn't go well.
§  Condition: TIP: Always purchase new items, unless it’s a collectible. Buying new items gives you the guarantee that the item you bought is in pristine condition.
§  Returns: TIP: Its best practice to purchase items from sellers who accept returns. This means that the seller would accept the item back if you have complaints
3.     Check the seller's feedback
o    Feedback and detailed seller ratings are left by previous buyers; thus, a high rating and positive feedback means that you could trust that seller. TIP: Purchase items from Top rated sellers or Power sellers because they usually have a feedback score of 99-100%.
Hope this helps :)
